My Story

The toy run was an AWESOME EVENT, and the first like it I have ever attended. The number of Bikes, Bikers and Biking Enthusiasts were INSANE! I was one of the first 30 or so people to arrive at Reunion Arena. Being as such I, was able to get some awesome shots of the Run getting to the Arlington, TX location, once I arrived. However, I did miss getting those awesome shots on the highway.
It was about 30 or so degrees when I got there at 10:00AM, Sunday morning. I guess there were 20 to 30 bikes there. About an hour later I remembered I had the little 3MP Camera in my Saddle Bags, and started taking a few pictures. You will see as the day progresses the insanity that ensues. First there were a couple hundred bikes, then, there were more bikes than I dared count.
I was a mile from the front of the Dallas, TX Group, and I was able to just see the front of our group, a nice little dot with blinking lights at the front.. We headed down I-30 from Reunion Arena’s South Parking Lot. We finally got to the Arlington Convention Center (along with I think Grapevine Group), and it was so insane in there, I gave up on going in. LOL, there were thousands of bikers in there with the kids. I saw the and the wall and the all but hidden. Santa’s workshop would have paled in comparison; to all the stuff in there. I have yet to locate a number on the attendees, but I can attest to it taking an hour or so for all the bikes (Not counting the GM vehicles) to get into the Arlington Convention Center Parking Lot. I Was a mile from the front of our group, and I heard we were stretched some 4 to 5 miles long!

I just found out more than NINETY-THOUSAND MOTOR CYCLES were in the 2007
run! Last year, more than Seventy-Thousand were in attendance.
